Episode 20: Karen Huebert-Sanchez and Ricky Sanchez

Rick and Karen Sanchez A Resilience Project Podcast Cindy Thompson_Final.jpg

In this episode, Karen Huebert-Sanchez and Ricky Sanchez talk about finding meaning and purpose while serving the community of Thailand and the valuable lessons they have learned about resilience as they create loving homes for children living with HIV/AIDS.

Karen knew from the time she was 8 years old that she would one day start an orphanage.  Over the past 20 years Ricky and Karen have been on a mission to create a safe home for children in Thailand who are born with HIV/Aids and orphaned at a young age. They also speak to the long-term benefit of partnering with college athletes to play sports and teach clinics among impoverished communities in Thailand and SE Asia.

Discover what they have learned about themselves while leaning into a very meaningful mission, how they celebrate the successes and navigate the adversities of doing their life’s work overseas.  You will be swept up by their energy and enthusiasm for the people of Thailand, and the commitment they have made to building programs for those in need.
