Anna Romanova - The Beauty Of Coming Full Circle

Were you taught to not show your real self? To hide how you really feel?

As a psychologist, Anna knew there was another way beyond the self-protective stoicism that was normalized while growing up in Ukraine, a former USSR country.

In this complex political environment, Anna became a pioneer in mental health practice in Ukraine. She began shifting the conversation about vulnerability and destigmatizing the universal human need to express our emotions—all against the backdrop of war and conflict.

Anna not only teaches us the power of embracing the fullness and messiness of life. She models it, too.

Courageously, Anna has weathered the storms of divorce, financial strain, while raising a daughter with epilepsy as a single parent.   These life experiences provided the opportunity for Anna to connect to a happier stronger version of herself.  In discovering a life of compassion, joy and service Anna has subsequently developed a powerful resilience practice that is sustainable and fulfilling.
